I was worried this would be too warm as my partner and I both overheat at night but I wanted something with a bit of weight to it. I have to say this duvet is the best purchase I have ever made! So much so, I'm even buying one for the dog! It has great weight to it which makes you feel like you are being cuddled all night yet, miraculously, no more overheating. I have the Baavet wool mattress topper too as we only have a cheap mattress and we have never had such good night's sleep as we have since buying our Baavet's. Having grown up with pure wool blankets and pillows (I am originally from Italy), I had been wanting to return to a more natural and healthy sleep and move away from synthetic bedding. Baavet ticked all my boxes: the ethics and spirit of the makers, the balance between cost and quality, range of choice, design and even the name itself (brilliant!). I bought a kingsize winter weight duvet in a cream cover. I absolutely love it. It's heavier than a synthetic duvet but just heavy enough to feel cosy and comforting. It does truly go with body temperature and has always been the right warmth despite variation in the external temperature, but what's most wonderful is that my own body temperature keeps stable throughout the night (which never did before) and I have had the best, easiest and most comfortable sleep since! I plan to gradually move to wool filled pillows and mattress covers and I am recommending Baavet to absolutely everyone!

I am very pleased with the blanket of warmth along with the lightness of the baavet. The slightly organic aroma is grounding.
