Marvellous purchase. Hubble has medical issues and always had cold feet in bed which meant that he had extra layers over his feet. The extra weight on his side of the bed resulted in the duvet being dragged off me so that I was forever 'chasing' the duvet. Since having the Baavet duvet his feet haven't felt cold and no extra layers are required. Initially I thought that it was an expensive duvet, but I purchased the winter weight duvet in the January sale and can now honestly say that it is worth every penny. We both agree that it's a good investment. I definitely recommend this duvet.

Being cold and fed up one night that the down in our old duvet had migrated to the outside edge pockets and wouldn't redistribute itself no matter how we tried, I rather impulsively lashed out on a super kingsize winter weight baavet. I was aware of them, being a baavet pillow owner already (another amazing product, that travels with me everywhere).

We absolutely love it! I've always been a bit restless at night, but now I sleep through much more often, and I can only think I was too warm under down. With the Baavet I'm always cosy and warm, never hot, never cold. Feathers seemed to lose heat more quickly if I got out of bed too, where the wool either holds the heat better than what we had, or it warms up quicker. Whichever it is, it works.

Initially I would wake up with a 'lanolin headache' in the morning as the smell was quite powerful at first, but it subsided after a couple of weeks and now I find it a very pleasant and subtle reminder that I'm sleeping under wool and just how lovely that is.

Once we start getting too warm in this duvet later in the year, we fully intend buying a summer weight one. I just can't imagine going back to feather or down again, and I can't recommend it highly enough!

Very pleased with the duvet, the main benefits being that I never seem to over heat and it doesn? move around so much as previous duvets we have used. Very comfortable, even on our coldest nights

Provides warm (not hot) consistent heat throughout its length. Its weight means it sinks down around you; lighter artificial duvets always flop around. Expensive but worth it.
