I bought a king size lightweight Baavet wool duvet on the strength of a recommendation from my daughter and son-in-law and after reading the many enthusiastic reviews on Baavet's website. When I opened the quickly-delivered parcel there was the oft-mentioned lanolin aroma as I expected. Luckily delivery was followed by two dry days which allowed me to air my new duvet spread across the top of my rotary clothes line. The result was very little remaining aroma and I quickly fed it into a duvet cover for immediate use.
How lovely my new baavet felt. It soon warmed up and kept me comfortably warm all night, so much so that I didn't want to get up the next morning, a feeling repeated on subsequent mornings. I now sleep better than I have done for quite a while, my breathing in bed has improved, and my nose and throat are clearer and less congested than before when in bed.

I bought a lightweight wool Duvet I followed the recommendation that in a modern well insulated home this would be a year round duvet. I strongly disagree this duvet shouldn? be recommended as suitable for winter or even autumn use. I have reverted to my old duvet that I wanted to replace. I expect that in the spring summer I will use the duvet but I am disappointed with the lightweight version. I would normally have purchased a heavier weight duvet but followed your website recommendation. On a positive note your packaging and speed of delivery was excellent and the duvet itself is well made and I expect if I? gone with my initial thoughts and purchased a heavier weight the review would have been different.

I love my duvet! I can? use any other duvet because I get too hot but this duvet keeps me snug and warm, without over heating. I would recommend it to anyone who struggles to use a duvet. Thank you!

I really like my new Baavet Duvet, I also got the mattress protector too and been getting a good nights sleep.

Purchased kingsize lightweight - plenty warm enough for me. There is a residual smell from the duvet though - even though I've aired it outside a couple of times - this is my only concern, I was hoping it would 'wear off' after a few weeks, but it's still there. Delivery was very quick.
