Having had a mattress protector previously, I knew what to expect from the new one and wasn't disappointed.
The bed is warm when needed but cool when you don't. It's soft and comfortable and is protecting my brand new mattress.

Bought this to complement the quilt and pillows we already own. Wonderful. Additional temperature regulation for my beautiful wife, and separating me from the synthetic foam of our mattress. In combination, the very best night's sleep I can recall.

I used to use a Baavet lightweight wool duvet with an old wool throw on colder nights. You know the type I'm sure - tartan with a fringe. I noticed that my back against the mattress was cold so I bought the mattress topper and now I don't need the throw. So the topper being filled with wool adds warmth. Also fairly thin and very comfy to sleep on. Full marks.
