As mentioned in some other reviews there is quite a strong smell at first. We left the duvet spread out in the conservatory for a few days and the smell almost disappeared. Once in a duvet cover it wasn't noticeable and it's superb! We are really glad we bought it. There is a weight to it that we like and it feels much better than a standard duvet. We bought if after the summer heat so I don't know how it will perform then.

Wish I'd known about these earlier! A much more even heat than my previous down and feather duvet. I like the texture of the duvet better too. After I received and tried it out I then promptly bought myself a pillow too! I'm sure I'll buy a different weight duvet in the future for the different seasons. I don't think I get such a stuffed up now either so I do believe the wool does what Baavet says it does. A winner for me and my husband.

Very pleased with my purchase. I bought this duvet because of the temperature regulating prooerties and find that it provides a comfortable nights sleep

Already have the heavier duvet which has been great for autumn and winter. This is noticeably lighter and will be great for spring and summer. It takes a while to air out the natural smell , but ok now. Expensive but well engineered.

Fabulous. Was a bit worried, lots of reviews talking about it being a bit smelly and yes, there was a little whiff but it soon dissipated. Lovely light, warm duvet - no regrets
