After many years in a draughty old cottage high in the Shropshire/Welsh border hills, we now live in a modern well insulated lowland house in which the bedroom temperature rarely drops below 17 or 18C at night. The super lightweight king size duvet is perfect for our new house and I no longer suffer from the night sweats I used to get under thick synthetic quilts. It simply feels lovely to sleep under. We?e thrown an extra quilt on top a couple of times when outside temperatures have dropped well below freezing but the Baavet is fine on its own in normal winter weather and should also be suitable for anything other than the stickiest summer nights. I? glad we close the super lightweight as I think the lightweight would have been too warm for our house. Our Baavet is clearly a quality product, doesn? smell of sheep and I appreciated the quick delivery and eco packaging, including a heavy cotton carry bag. I also loved the back story of how the Baavet operation came into being and am glad to support a genuinely British product.

I bought this because I have severe arthritis in both shoulders and thought this would help as it? so light and I would be able to pull it up easily but unfortunately I wasn? warm enough and have to put my old duvet on also. I? sure that when the weather gets warm again it will be fine. Maybe before next winter you can supply one which can fasten up with this one to make a warmer but not heavy.

Would you believe that, even in winter, I am almost finding it too warm! Lovely and snuggly though.
Thank you.

Amazing! Does exactly what it says. If you are thinking about getting one, go for it. I chose the super light weight as I used to get so hot under a feather duvet. Now I'm the perfect temperature at night. I can even feel a little cold at first & that was unheard of. No more throwing the cover off to cool down. Next on the list is the mattress!
