This isn't an enquiry, it's just a message to say thank you for our lovely Baavet duvet. We bought a super-king medium at the Anglesey Agricultural show in August... and were impressed by the salespeople, who were very informative and not too "pushy". I had seen the "Dragon's Den" episode, so was delighted to see your stall at the show, Although I thought your products might be out of our price range, we splashed out and are, naturally, delighted with our purchase.
I always try to buy local, ethical products (especially from my homeland of Wales!) and we are now saving up to buy a pair of pillows!
Thank you... and good luck with the business, Mary Lloyd-Evans

bought this in great trepidation as had not seen or felt one. It is amazing, so light and so much nicer than my goose down & feather one. Sleep is wonderful & no waking up too hot in the night as the temperature stays stable. Love the extra little touches of lavender bag & sample to see how the filling looks. I love it is entirely British and not made in various different countries all round the world. Please stay exactly the same as your business grows huge, as I'm sure it will. One other thing, I expected there to be a slight smell to it but I have a good sense of smell and there is nothing at all. Saving up for dog beds now, just the thing for rescued & abused hounds to rest their weary bones.

I'd just like to let you have our review for the Baavet products we bought...
Well. Absolutely love the two quilts (medium and lightweight) and mattress cover, which we've had for a couple of months now. We went almost the whole hog and boy are we pleased. We have the coldest bedroom in the house (best views though) and though it hasn't been as cold as it could have been these last couple of winter months, we were plenty warm enough using just the medium weight quilt; though we keep the lightweight quilt concertina'd up at the foot of the bed. Just in case (old habits and all that). We found the best way, on the coldest nights, was to warm the bed up first with hot water bottles giving us a head start in the cosy stakes. A few times I have still felt a bit too warm and so still resort to the foot out of the bed tac tic. The best thing is though, I always used to move to the spare room because of my husband's snoring and also because he was so cold he had 2 heavy quilt on the bed, which I couldn't bear the weight nor the heat of. Since getting Baavet, w e've slept together every night. The snoring hasn't stopped completely, but it's vastly improved. We haven't used the lightweight quilt yet, but it's bound to be as near to perfect as you can get. We both also love the feint and delicate scent of sheep. Its strangely very comforting and I'm beginning to miss it now the scent is fading. So, all in all a very big thank you to Baavet for providing such an excellent product. Long may it continue. I plan to make a bedtime rug to fit our dog with some carded wool, I just need to get my act together.....

I bought my kingsize baavet from the bargain box.
I got a medium weight one and I love it, seems to make me sleep heavier.
Previously I used a down nd feather one and after a year it started leaking down and getting all over the shop, and collecting on one side, with this duvet it feels nothing will budge.
I have only used it during the warmer weather so hope it can keep out the cold as it should or just with a blanket on top.
Had toyed with buying another wool one(on ebay)but it had no info on it, where it was made etc it said it was merino, and then read about you.
I am so pleased I found Baavet, I love the fact you are so passionate.

I received my medium Baavet a couple of weeks ago and have grown to love it! It did smell a bit "sheepy" at the start but this smell has all but gone now. I wasn't sure which weight to go for....but as I live in Glasgow, in an old sandstone building, I went for the medium weight. It was a teeny bit warm at the start but our temperatures have now dropped to around 12 degrees minimum overnight and it's fine. I didn't have problems sleeping before....but I do sleep now with a clearer conscience, knowing that I haven't contributed to the factory farming and killing of geese used to produce down/feather duvets. I would definitely recommend this wool product!
