I purchased a king size quilt a couple of months ago and from the first night of sleeping under it would never go back to a synthetic or feather quilt. It's so light yet at the same time comfortably warm regulating your body temperature perfectly allowing a perfect nights sleep.

I personally quite liked the smell of lanolin and was disappointed when it faded.

I have recommended Baavet to several friends who have been just as pleased as we have been with ours. I'm planning to buy another for our guest bedroom and another for my parents for Christmas.

I bought a Baavet medium weight kingsize duvet approximately six weeks ago. Previously I was overheating using a Climarelle duvet. The Baavet appears to be very well made and encased in a very good quality cream cotton cover. After initial unpacking it smelled rather "gamey", however after a week of airing this has resolved itself. It is a similar weight to the Climarelle.

It's lovely to sleep underneath the Baavet and it eliminates all those problem air gaps you get with ordinary duvets. It appears to adjust to your body temperature and keeps you at an optimum temperature throughout the night - without overheating. I'm delighted with it's performance, no waking up feeling damp & exhausted from overheating.

I bought a king size duvet for myself and my partner after a friend recommended Baavet, I read the information on the site and felt strongly that we needed to get one. I waited for a bargain to appear in the bargain box and we have been very happy with the purchase. I was concerned if my partner would mind the slight sheepy smell but he said it reminded him of the smell of his old railway models that were kept in boxes in a suitcase when he was a boy. I used to often wake in the night feeling too hot, push the old synthetic duvet off and then back on again when I woke up freezing...I now rarely feel too hot and sleep much better. A lack of restorative sleep is linked with illness. My partner normally sleeps with no covers but he now enjoys pulling the duvet over himself when he returns to bed if he gets up in the night. The duvet is thinner and lighter than I expected and I really enjoy going to bed at night to lie underneath it. I bought my teenage daughter a duvet too.

I bought my duvet at Loseley Park Christmas. The guys on the stand were informative, friendly and sincere.
Took it home and slept like a lamb! My previous duvet was down.

Bought our quilt from the lovely helpful Caroline, on her birthday, at Harrogate's Crafts for Christmas.

To be honest, husband was not very enthusiastic at the idea, but we bought super king medium weight. Even though he was not that keen on the idea, the first night of sleeping under this quilt changed ALL of that. We don't just like it, we both love it. It's comfortable, and lovely, and the quality of our sleep is much improved, so feel better during the day.

We really look forward to going to bed and been able to snuggle under our lovely quilt. Would give 10 stars, but display only allow 5!
