One day ago I took delivery of a medium weight Kingsize Baavet duvet. My wife has always been a cold soul which meant that we have always had a large heavy duvet of man made fibre plus the help of an electric blanket. On seeing the Baavet for the first time we were both concerned about its slimness and lightness. It was the coldest night of the year. We had no reason to worry, it was perfect to the point where the electric blanket was confined to the bedding box. There was only one problem I miss out on the cuddles I used to be asked for to keep her warm for the first ten minutes in bed. I think I can put up with that for the quality of a Baavet.

I bought a medium weight duvet at the end of last winter but couldn't use it because the smell of lanolin, even after airing. However, I used it when I was camping last weekend. It was chilly at night and storms were forecast but I was snuggy and warm, without ever feeling over-heated. It's a king sized duvet which I used partly to lie on and partly over me. I had the best night's sleep I've ever had camping. Thank you

I bought my double Baavet in April 2014 and loved it straight away. The light and lofty weight of it did give me a little trepidation at first - how could something so seemingly slight work - but after one night I had no worries. Throughout life I have suffered with cold feet, being cold initially in bed and then turning into a human furnace in the middle of the night, the Baavet truly is a revelation! Fantastic quality, home grown and made and a wonderful product that does what it says, excellent. I'm gradually extending my Baavet products and have now passed this medium weight on to be used in warmest bedroom in the house and it is very much appreciated by the occupant.

I followed the advice to give it a shake to lift the loft and hang it out on the line on sunny days to air it. The Baavet is as fresh as ever without washing. Highly recommended.

I used to sleep under my old 15 tog synthetic duvet with socks and pjs on and then my dressing gown on top! Now I can't wait to get to bed - I warm up super quick under my medium baavet - only need socks on very cold nights until my feet get warm, then they're off! No extra layers needed, totally love my new duvet (and really like the smell, although after a couple of weeks it is now fading). I also have the mattress topper, which means I am now sandwiched in bliss!

I am impressed with my new baavet. It keeps me warm and i have the medium weight as i live in a 400 year old house with little insulation. Now thinking about a pillow.
