Smart idea giving a wee sample?. which is good to show to friends. All materials first class. The duvet itself is the best we ever had and we have had a lot! Various materials and togs. We have had the duvet for about a month now and I still enjoy it every time I go to bed. For the first couple of days it did feel a bit warm but no issues once you get used to it. Just right. The advice about which weight to buy was very helpful and although lightweight, this is nice and warm in a mostly unheated bedroom.
It is as warm as an older synthetic duvet which was heavier and increasingly more of an effort to move under.
The covering is smooth, which makes it easier to put into the cover, as it doesn't need as much pulling.
It arrived in excellent packaging and very promptly. The small sample showing the interior with the wool filling and the children's book about the origin of Baavet are nice touches.
Well worth the extra money (especially if it doesn't need washed), a quality product and a happy customer.

It? fabulous quality, but if you have white bedding this quilt makes it look cream due to the cream covering. My previous quilt was a 4.5 tog so thought this lightweight one would be just right, buts it? too warm. Unfortunately I have had to go back to my old quilt.

We saw or read a feature on Baavet some years ago and then friends bought one and highly recommended it. We like many features about Baaver, being a British natural product and the qualities that come with that. For us, we haven't found the temperature regulating as good as we hoped. We like the feel and weight but do end up with it hanging off the end of the bed most mornings which we wonder is down to the seams going across the bed as opposed to the traditional duvet. The tog rating appeared to right for us on the light but we do wonder now if the superlight might have suited us better.
