The duvet is very comfortable in the warm weather. It rustles a bit when you turn or move around, but that doesn? disturb us.

It's just what I hoped it to be. I'm an ex shepherd and love wool. I'm going to buy a wool pillow next.

So pleased with this duvet, so much better than my old synthetic one. Haven? over heated in it, even in the current heatwave. When you pick up the duvet it feels fairly heavy but is so light when you?e under it. Would definitely recommend.

We are currently struggling to eliminate the farmyard smell from the duvets. Sadly the small lavender bag has no chance of achieving this. The plastic wrap, whilst being important for delivery etc, has simply compounded the issue. 3 days on the linen line has not yet helped much. But as weather is hot and there is no breeze at present perhaps this is to be expected. To be honest I bought these for the light weight for Arthritis etc., and if I can remove the smell , feel confident the duvet will suit. At present though, I think I have wasted my money. After the first day outside - 10 hours- , soon after purchasing, I put duvet on bed and despite open windows the whole bedroom stank by bedtime and duvet had to be removed...obviously I am disappointed.

The duvet does have a residue of lanolin in it, this is a natural wool/ lanolin smell, which will fade when aired and over time. Some duvets do have a stronger lanolin smell than others and this is all down to how much lanolin is still in the wool. We give our wool two washes without the use of bleach or other stripping chemicals , this is so we can retain the natural properties of the wool.
