Bought this because the medium weight duvet I previously purchased has been too much for the recent hot period. This lightweight version has been much more usable. I look forward to warm nights under my other Baavet in winter!

Huge improvement on existing NASA developed duvet I had. The lightweight is definitely around the 8 tog mark, I don't need more than that in deep winter (live in Scotland), so since buying this, I have also bought the super light duvet and the mattress protector. As another reviewer said, the protector is more like a topper - so thick and I can only describe as luxurious! I noticed the difference the first night, sandwiched in wool. No longer being insulated between polyester or topped with feathers is quite amazing really. So comfortable, I can't recommend highly enough. Well worth every penny. I wear wool, knit with wool. I love the smell. And I love the sounds of my new Baavet(s).
